Without the help of our volunteers, the Hospice would be unable to make such a difference in improving the quality of life of our patients, their families and friends.

We currently have 220 volunteers within the hospice, 120 in our shops and over 200 in our Community Fundraising Groups.

Within the Hospice who help with a variety of duties from offering their talents in Day Care to Flower Arranging.

Opportunities available

Volunteer opportunities include: Driving, passenger assistance, reception; hairdressing; manicure; gardening; flower arranging; arts & crafts; music & entertainment; complementary therapy; bereavement telephone support; computer administration; charity shops & fundraising and other skills that may be useful to the Hospice. We constantly need new volunteers, but vacancies tend to fluctuate within the various departments.
