We decided to open a tribute web page for Dad because it really suited our circumstances - allowing extended friends and family living all across the country, to have access to a place of remembrance.

It is an easy way to share and contribute our personal thoughts and memories. We look forward to sharing memories of the good times.

Grief affects people differently - however, finding a way to celebrate and remember your special person can be a good outlet for dealing with bereavement. You may have your own way to remember your family member, friends or work colleague - or you may still be searching for something to do that feels right.

St Raphael's Hospice is now able to offer the opportunity to create a Tribute web page in memory of a loved one.

Using the St Raphael's Hospice Missyou website - which can be found at www.straphaels.org.uk/missyou you can easily create a Tribute web page in memory of a loved one. This can become a special, private place to visit at any time to remember and reflect.

You may choose to share stories and memories about your loved one, post favourite pictures online, send e-cards to family & friends, and even light a virtual candle.
The Tribute pages are password protected and access can be limited to just your chosen family and friends.  Or you can allow the pages  to be seen by any visitor to the website.

A Tribute page is easy to set up and to add to over time, and they allow friends and family to share their feelings of sadness and loss, but also to remember the good times and the joy that person brought to them.  The site also provides the opportunity for anyone who chooses to support St Raphael's Hospice to make a gift in memory on a particular anniversary or date if they so choose.
