Amidst the first wave of the COVID-19 crisis we made 6 additional beds available to ease capacity for the NHS whilst continuing to support all patients, both in our in-patient unit and in their own homes, in challenging and rapidly changing circumstances. The challenge is financial as well as clinical. We expect that our income may drop by as much as £1.4m this financial year compared to last year. Community palliative care

Our community team is made up of experienced, expert Clinical Nurse Specialists, doctors, nurses and Health Care Assistants.
How to refer

We welcome referrals for patients at all stages of their illness, including early stages, so that we can support them, their families and their friends for as long as possible.

Our vision is to be excellent in our delivery of expert, compassionate palliative and end of life care. We aim to be a reassuring presence known to and accessible by all the people of Merton and Sutton. We will seek every opportunity to understand and connect with the diverse richness of our community in order to serve it better.
