  • Amazon Smile
  1. Support us
  2. Shop with us

Amazon Smile

Amazon Smile is a simple way for you to support us every time you shop at Amazon, at no cost to you.

Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price of all your eligible items (excluding VAT, returns and shipping). It's the exact same shopping experience, products and prices, only with the added bonus of supporting your local hospice.

To do this:

Step 1. Sign into your Amazon account

Step 2. Click the Amazon Smile logo below. A new window will appear: 'Support St Raphael's Hospice' and then click 'Start shopping'.

You have now added us as your chosen charity and the system will remember us for future visits. You will also be able to check back and see how much your shopping has generated for the Hospice!

When shopping on an internet browser make sure you use www.smile.amazon.co.uk to generate donations.

You can also activate Amazon Smile on your iPhone or Android, making it even easier to support:

Step 1: Join Amazon Smile using link above.

Step 2: Open the Amazon shopping app on your phone. If you don’t have the app already then download it from Apple Store or Google Play.

Step 3: Open Settings within the app by tapping the 3 horizontal lines.

Step 4: Tap 'Gifting and Charity', then 'Amazon Smile'.

Step 5: Tap the button to Turn on Amazon Smile and generate donations. Please note that Amazon requires you to turn on notifications to be able to use Amazon Smile on your phone. You can do this in your phone settings.

Step 6: Every time you shop ensure that Amazon Smile is activated by looking at the top of the app as you browse.

Please note that Amazon ask you to renew your chosen charity every 6 months in the app. You will be notified of the renewal via a push notification and will need to reactivate Amazon Smile for St Raphael’s Hospice using the steps above. There is no renewal period when using Amazon smile in an internet browser.
