This year more than ever, spring seems to herald a real sense of hope. Hope that the vaccine will bring about a return to sharing time and creating new memories with those we love. Hope that we can once again celebrate and commemorate the lives of those we have lost.

Following on from the success of last year’s appeal we will once again be joining with Mayfield Lavender Farm to create a stunning memorial at their site in Banstead. We know how much you loved receiving your personalised lavender marker so we will be sending you this, together with a treat from Mayfield Lavender in the post.

Making a donation

As with last year’s appeal, we would like to invite you to remember your loved ones just as you always have, whether you can donate to the appeal or not.

To support the appeal, click the dedicate button below, choose the amount you would like to give and leave a comment to specify the name(s) of those you wish to remember (this will be the name printed on memorial boards and on your personalised lavender name marker).

Only dedications made before 4th June can be displayed at the farm.

Lavender Memory Walk

We are also planning to hold a socially-distanced 6 mile walk from Mayfield Lavender Farm on Saturday, 26th June. You can also take part in this challenge virtually at any time in June.

We choose June to celebrate through this event as it coincides with when the lavender blooms. Our hope is that as the lavender fields turn to a haze of purple, we can join with you in remembering your loved ones and through this act of remembrance continue to support the people of Merton and Sutton when they need us most.
