Chair of Finance and Resources Committee

I retired as a Partner in PWC. In 2009, during Mass one Sunday at St Elphege’s Church, a volunteer of St Raphael’s Hospice spoke from the pulpit asking for volunteer drivers to take patients to and from the Hospice Wellbeing Centre. I was interviewed and accepted the role. After a couple of years, I was contacted by Sister Veronica who asked me if I would join the Advisory Committee.

I joined the Advisory Committee and ultimately became Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee. I became a Trustee Board Member in 2019 at an exciting time when St Raphael’s Hospice became an independent Charity.

I am proud to be on the Board and believe that the Hospice staff are magnificent in what they achieve for their patients in the wards, in their own homes and through the Wellbeing Centre.
