Mayor of Sutton raises over £24K We were delighted that our Wellbeing Centre was chosen by the Mayor of Sutton to be one of the charities of the year in 2023/24. As one of the Mayor of Sutton's chosen charities, on Friday 9 August the Mayor presented a total of £24,153 which was split between our Wellbeing Centre and Volunteer Centre Sutton - Sutton Youth Cares Project. We are grateful for the ongoing support from Mayor Colin Stears, Deputy Mayor Louise Phelan, and Christine Lindsay, who were instrumental in organising the Mayor's fundraising events across the last year. We would also like thank Volunteer Centre Sutton, especially CEO Anita Maulin, for their collaboration and support. A message from our CEO, Nick Stevens: "We have thoroughly enjoyed the events organised by the Mayor's Charities Fundraising Committee and we're so pleased to have had our Wellbeing Centre chosen as charity of the year 2023-24, alongside Volunteer Centre Sutton. As we continue to face financial challenges, the money that has been raised through these events is indispensable for the delivery our vital services. We are so grateful to the Mayor of Sutton and all his team for their hard work throughout the year." To see how we have worked with the Mayor of Sutton, please click here. Manage Cookie Preferences
