Make incredible memories at St Raphael's Fire and Ice Walk!

Grab your family and friends, put your best foot forward and do something amazing to support St Raphael's.
Take on the seemingly impossible to walk over smouldering hot embers on the Fire Walk or complete the Ice Walk over sterile broken glass!
Full training will be given to ensure you complete you walk confidently and safely.
Every incredible step you take will inspire you and help you local Hospice!
Registration costs £30 for either Fire or Ice Walk with a minimum sponsorship of £100
Or take on both for £50 registration and £150 minimum sponsorship

14-16 years can participate with written Parental Consent

Location: The Fire and Ice Walks will take place at St Bede’s Conference Centre, on the Hospice grounds, SM3 9DX. Entry for walks will be via the main entrance to the Hospice. Follow the road around to behind the Hospice building where you will find signs and staff to direct you to the Registration area, inside St Bede’s.

Distances: Both the Fire and Glass (Ice) walks are approximately 4m long.

Time: Registration will be open 5:30pm- 6:30pm. The mandatory training seminar will take place 6:30pm-7:30pm, during which time there will be entertainment provided for any family and friends who have come along to cheer you on. The Ice (Glass) walk will take place first at approx. 7:40pm, followed by the Fire walk at approx. 8:10pm.

Age Restrictions: Walkers must be aged 16 or over. Children aged 14-16 years are able to take part with signed Parental Consent, which must be completed at Registration.

Sponsorship: The delivery of Fire and Glass walks need to be done by experts. This is why we have hired Survivorbility, a specialist company who have been running fire and glass walks for over 10 years, to run this event. Your registration fee covers the cost of bringing in Survivorbility to provide this fantastic experience. However, the minimum sponsorship we ask you to raise will go directly to allowing us to continue providing peace, specialist care and support to our patients and their loved ones.
