Ultra Challenge Series

Walk, jog or run! 25km, 50km or 100km

Are you a keen walker new to challenge events? Maybe you are an experienced hiker seeking adventure? Perhaps you're a runner wanting to 'up' your distance? Or do you want to get in shape and set some new personal goals? Whoever you are, if you're up for a real challenge - these events are for you!

With 9 events to choose from and 3 distances, the ultra challenges are for all experience levels. You can join as an individual or as a team and select to raise vital funds for St Raphael's Hospice.

Choose your distance for all challenges and take part in the quarter, half or full.

The Isle of Wight Challenge

The coastal path provides a spectacular backdrop for an unforgettable challenge - with white cliffs, beaches, Needles, ups and downs, and stunning views out to sea.

When: 4th / 5th May 2019

Where: Isle of Wight

London 2 Brighton Challenge

A classic Capital to Coast route that's 66% off road. Along the Thames Path and on to the North and South Downs through beautiful Surrey and Sussex countryside.

When: 25th / 26th May 2019

Where: Starting in Richmond and finishing up in Brighton

Jurassic Coast Challenge

Dorset's Jurassic Coast is an amazing setting for perhaps the toughest event within the Ultra Challenge Series. With sharp ups and downs on the coastal path and a slightly flatter second half.

When: 8th / 9th June 2019

Where: Starting at Poole Harbour and finishing up in Bridport

Cotswold Way Challenge

The magical Cotwold Way provides a stunning setting for a testing challenge - with fantastic views out to the west, and some tough hill climbs in between.

When: 29th / 30th June 2019

Where: Starting at the historic Royal Crescent in Bath 

Peak District Challenge

A tough and varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire's finest scenery and peaks.

When: 13th / 14th July 2019

Where: Derbyshire

Chiltern Challenge

This fantastic circular route will showcase the best of the Chilterns and surrounding areas. You'll walk, jog, or run along three of the South's most iconic trails the Ridgeway, Icknield Way and Chiltern Way.

When: 27th / 28th July 2019

Where: Henley-on-Thames

South Coast Challenge

Take on some of England's finest scenery. Up Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters and Devils Dyke with stunning views along the South Downs Way.

When: 31st August / 1st September 2019

Where: Starting in Eastbourne and finishing in Arundel

Thames Path Challenge

A stunning route that's steeped in history, follows England's greatest river and has no hills! 

When: 7th / 8th September 2019

Where: Starting near Putney Bridge and finishing in Henley

Thames Path Bridges Trek - 25km only

Zig-zagging over 16 historic bridges for 25km - and giving the best views of London's famous skyline and landmarks.

When: 7th / 8th September

Where: London

North Downs 50 Challenge - 25km and 50km only

Wonderful Surrey countryside - including Box Hill with fantastic views.

When: 28th September 2019

Where: Starting in Farnham and finishing in Reigate

Registration Fees and Fundraising

1. Self Funding Option  

Participant Registration Fee:

100km (Full): £198

50km (Half): £129

25km (Quarter): £79

Minimum Fundraising Target

If you kindly decide to self-fund the full costs of your challenge there is no minimum fundraising target. We just ask that you try to raise as much as you can to support St Raphael's. 

2. Minimum Sponsorship Option

50km (Half): £10

25km (Quarter): £5

3) Mixed Funding Option

Participant Registration Fee:
