We are always looking for volunteers in a wide range of roles but, at the moment, we are particularly interested in getting volunteers in the following positions.

Duties include:

  • Managing our low maintenance high visual impact gardens.
  • Tidying, sweeping and trimming.

Hospice Ambassadors

These volunteers help to represent the Hospice by attending cheque presentations, delivering talks to community groups such as schools and churches or by attending community and Supporter Group events. Full training will be provided if public speaking is not something that you have done before.

Retail Warehouse Volunteers

These volunteers are needed to prepare stock for distribution to the shop outlets as per requirement. Preparation may involve sifting through donated goods in bags or boxes, steaming or placing clothing on hangers and in bags, boxing books, bric-a-brac, wool, audio and electrical goods.
