Tribute Fund

Our Tribute Funds provide a meaningful space for family and friends to honour a loved one while supporting St Raphael’s Hospice.

Your tribute page serves as a comforting place to visit at any time, allowing you, your family, and friends to remember and reflect. Anyone can go online to share memories, thoughts, upload favourite pictures, or light a candle. Additionally, all donations and fundraising efforts can be added to the tribute fund.

What comprises a Tribute Fund?

People often initiate contributions to a Tribute Fund through funeral collections or one-off donations. Once a fund is established, you, along with your friends and family, can continue to add to it. While there are suggested ideas for fundraising listed below, the choice of how to grow your memorial fund is entirely up to you.

Donations, such as funeral collections
Sponsorship from challenges, such as skydives or trekking Snowdon
Hosting your own events, from coffee mornings to golf days
Celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, and weddings
Regular giving by direct debit

How to set up a Tribute Fund

Utilise Much Loved, an online service where you can create a tribute page for your loved one and invite family and friends to share thoughts, photos, and special memories.

Setting up a tribute page is free. You can send funeral notices to those unable to attend in person, light candles in memory, and because the page is always available, you can continue to remember and share together for many years.

Set up a Tribute page

1. Add to the Tribute Fund at any time, and encourage your friends and family to do the same.

2. We will keep in touch at least once a year, providing updates on the amount raised for Hospice care in your loved one’s name.

3. You can also link any JustGiving pages to your tribute page.

4. For assistance in setting up your tribute fund, please email or call our supporter care team at 020 8254 2450 or [email protected].

Funeral arrangements

One way to celebrate the life of a loved one is to ask family and friends to make a donation at their funeral service. Often people choose to do this in lieu of sending flowers.

We can provide secure donation envelopes for individuals to make donations by cash, cheque or debit/credit card. There is space on the envelope to let us know who the gift is in memory of and to confirm that we can claim the Gift Aid. This means we can receive 25% more from the kind donation at no extra cost to you or us.

If you prefer, we can also provide you with a collection can or bucket.

Just get in touch with our friendly team below to talk this through and arrange collection of the items you will need.
