I am a senior lecturer in leadership and related topics at Westminster Business School, University of Westminster. I originally trained as a nurse and have a strong interest in professional regulation and healthcare governance. I have been a board member of the Health and Care Professions Council and am now a board member of the Academy of Healthcare Science/Registration Council of Clinical Physiologists. In 2017, I completed my PhD, which considered governance in the NHS

Having lived in Sutton for more than 20 years, I was familiar with the work of St Raphael’s Hospice and wanted to contribute to a much-valued community resource. I applied to join the board in 2017.
