St Raphael’s are delighted to announce the appointment of
Kate Billingham Wilson as Fundraising Director.

Kate has worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years for a range of different organisations in the healthcare and social welfare setting. She brings with her a wealth of fundraising and marketing experience, from working on major capital appeals and delivering fundraising strategies for complex causes, to handing out leaflets in fancy dress!

Kate, who is joining St Raphael’s at an exciting time in the Hospice’s development, said: “I have received a very warm welcome from everyone and I’m looking forward to working to raise vital funds to help anyone in Merton and Sutton accessing our services.”

St Raphael’s CEO, Nick Stevens, added: “The Hospice costs £6m each year to run and, with only 25% of funding from the NHS, we rely on the generous support of our community to continue providing our specialist palliative and end-of-life care free of charge. Kate brings passion and experience to develop our fundraising and helps to ensure that St Raphael’s remains at the heart of our community for many years to come.”
