When I read about a member of the St Raphael’s staff going out of their way to bring a patient a Greggs “steak bake”, I knew that this was an organisation I wanted to join. Seeing the person and coming alongside them and their family and friends is what makes hospice work so valuable and so vital for us all.

I joined in 2018 as Finance Director and am delighted to continue now as CEO. I am a Chartered Accountant, married to Claire who works with children as a pastoral and learning mentor. We run The Marriage Course and Pre-Marriage Course through our church and we have three daughters, Annie, Gracie and Bea who are recently graduated and training to be a surveyor, studying at Uni to be a nurse and tackling the intensity of GCSEs respectively! Our family is rounded off by our labradoodle, Marmite who is full of beans.
