Our community of Merton and Sutton is home to a scope of fantastic groups and clubs, whose support has helped us continue to be there for the 1 in 4 people who need us, in the wonderful community we share!

Our local groups, clubs and societies have contributed to the Hospice in so many ways, helping to raise much-needed funds and volunteering where needed most. Rotary Clubs, Sports Clubs, Faith Groups, Women’s Institutes, Brownies, Guides, Scouts, Mum & Toddler Groups, to name but a few!

It costs us over £6.5 million every year to keep the Hospice running, with our charity relying heavily on the support of our community. We’re calling on local groups of all kinds to support St Raphael’s and to help make a difference together, for our patients and those closest to them.

There are so many different ways to support our hospice, from organising your own unique events, signing up for sporting challenges, volunteering with us or simply donating toward our specialist care. We are on-hand to help wherever needed, providing event support and merchandise along the way.

Setting up a charity partnership is another fantastic way of helping St Raphael’s become sustainable into the future, choosing us as your charity of choice to support on an ongoing basis. Our fundraising team would be delighted to assist with this and share help and advice.

Raising awareness of hospice care and spreading the word about the work we do is invaluable to us. Our dynamic fundraising team of staff and volunteers enjoy attending group meetings and gatherings all kinds and sizes – sharing information about our charity, the services provided as well as positive stories that highlight the support available to those in need. Helping our community at large to understand the importance of free, quality end of life care is vital. We are always happy to meet with you and to arrange a speaker or representative to join your next gathering.
