We are delighted to offer this NEW education package specifically designed to support the delivery of end of life care offered by Homecare services.
The topics covered are:
- Recognising dying and the changes you might see when someone is approaching the end of their life
- Considering how you might support the commonly experienced symptoms associated with end of life care (EOLC)
- Exploring who might be involved in supporting the person at the different stages of their illness and care need
- Identifying the importance of sensitive communication, and exploring how you might feel more confident during these conversations
The topics are presented across 2 half days, with a requirement for participants to attend both sessions (2 & 22 July). The sessions are designed for those supporting EOLC needs for individuals in their own homes for example care support workers, their team leaders and Homecare Service managers.
Attendance is £25 per person.
