Our service are available to anyone with a life limiting condition, their carers and the recently bereaved and is not limited to people under the clinical care of the hospice.

A sanctuary of support and friendship 

Our Wellbeing Centre, located in the Hospice grounds, offers a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. It provides social, practical and therapeutic support to people in our community living with life-limiting illnesses. 

Our Wellbeing Centre provides our Compassionate Neighbours initiative, complementary therapies and wellbeing programme. There is something for everyone, from music, art and relaxation classes to friendly chats over a cup of tea. Our incredible Wellbeing Team are here for patients, family members, friends and carers who might benefit from some additional support and some respite.

Do I have to pay?

You do not have to pay. There are no charges for any of our services in the Wellbeing Centre but voluntary donations are always gratefully accepted.

How do I get to the Wellbeing Centre?

We are in St Bede’s Conference Centre which is next to St Raphael’s Hospice and in the same grounds as St Anthony’s Hospital. Our postcode is SM3 9DX. If you drive, we have ample onsite parking right outside the Wellbeing Centre.

The 93, 293 and S3 buses stop right outside the Hospice. If you have difficulties in getting here by car or public transport, the following links may be useful. Alternatively, please contact a member of the Wellbeing Centre team for any further advice.
