Once you have completed these steps, one of our team will then be in touch and arrange a convenient time for collection.
Please note: there may be a 2-3 week wait for an available collection slot
If you are unable to attach photos, please let us know and we may be able to send a volunteer to view and photograph the items.
Please be aware that we may be unable to accept your donation upon inspection. If we feel we are unable to sell the item we may have to turn it down as we are liable for the cost of disposal which can be hundreds of pounds.
What we need to take into consideration when we accept or refuse your item:
-
- Safety tickets – Do any soft furnishings have the original fire safety tickets attached and readable?
- Saleable quality – From our experience, is the item of saleable quality?
- Similar items in stock – How many similar items do we already have? Our storage space is limited
- Ease of access – Where the item is located and are we able to access and remove it safely? Are there stairs and pets at the property?
- Manpower available – How many people are required to move it? Our service is predominantly operated with the help of volunteers
- Collection times – When do we have a collection slot available?
- Parking restrictions – Are there any parking restrictions at the property and can we park close to the collection point?
