Ways to offer your Support

EVERY GIFT makes a real difference and we can reclaim income or capital gains tax paid on your donation through a valid Gift Aid declaration. St Raphael’s Hospice spends such a high proportion of its income directly on the care we give, you can be sure that your gift, large or small, will have a direct effect on the care our patients receive.

Payroll Giving

Many employers operate payroll giving schemes that allow people to make automatic, regular gifts to charity from their salary. This is particularly tax efficient as no tax is paid on the donation and, in the United Kingdom, the Government adds 10% to your gift. Please check with your employer to find out if they operate a Payroll Giving scheme.

Company Matched Giving

Company matched Giving is operated by many large companies who agree to match any charitable donation / fundraising made by their employees up to a maximum amount.

*Gift Aid

Gift Aid plays a significant part in financing the efforts of the Hospice. At no extra cost to you, we are able to recover a further 25p for every £1 you donate. So, for a gift of £500 we stand to gain an additional £125, providing you are a UK taxpayer and the amount of tax you pay exceeds the amount that you would like the hospice to claim.

Call us on T: 020 8254 2450 or email fundraising@straphaels.org.uk for further details on any of the above.
