The easiest way to donate your goods to us is to take them directly to one of our eleven shops in the Sutton and Merton area. See details of our high street stores locations and opening times. Our shops are very grateful for all donations, though please see the list below of items we unfortunately cannot accept or sell.

Please note that if you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donated goods by 25% at no extra cost to you by using Gift Aid. You can visit our Gift Aid page to find out more information.

Collection service

If you are unable to drop your donations off at one of our local shops then please contact our Retail Team below who may be able to arrange a collection.

A free collection service is also available for small items of furniture in the local area. These collections are currently only available on a Thursday. To arrange a collection below contact us below.

Alternatively, our Warehouse is manned on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8.00am and 3.00pm and we are more than happy to accept your donations there.

Items we cannot accept

Unfortunately, due to legal and health and safety regulations, there are some items that we are prohibited from selling in our shops. We are therefore unable to accept or collect the following items:

  • Knives, blades and scissors
  • Fur coats and/or fur products
  • Knitting needles
  • Weapons, swords or firearms
  • Lawn mowers, strimmers or ride on motor vehicles (with engines)
  • Motorbike helmets, riding helmets, any other personalised safety equipment
  • Ski’s, roller skates, ice skates
  • Exercise equipment (unless complete, with full safety & manufacturer instructions)
  • Gas appliances, paraffin stoves or heaters and gas canister
  • Fireworks
  • Cigarette lighters or E-cigarettes
  • Candles (which do not have a CE kite mark & safety label attached)
  • White goods (such as kitchen appliances)
  • Video cassette tapes or DVDs with a rating of R18 (containing adult content)
  • Home recorded cassettes, videos or DVDs
  • Printers, Ink cartridges & toner cartridges
  • Home made cushions, bedding, toys or clothes
  • Used mattresses
  • Nightwear (which does not have a Fire Safety label sewn in to the garment). Nightwear includes, pyjamas, night dresses, dressing gowns & baby grows
  • Any item advertising a competitor or company branded garment / uniforms
  • Nursery items, such as carrycots, baby baths, mattresses, bouncing harnesses and car seats (NB – high chairs, prams, push chairs and bicycles can be sold if offered for sale with the full manufacturers instructions and safety guidelines)
  • Any toys (including soft toys) which do not have the CE, kite safety mark attached (this does not apply to Fisher Price toys, which are out of the original packaging, as these will not show the CE mark)
  • Chemistry sets and/or toys which include a heat element
  • Pianos
  • Large items of furniture such as wardrobes / beds / large sideboards / sofas (single arm chairs are fine if sellable & the fire label is attached) / large dining room tables (unless these can be folded down)
