Times of serious illness and loss can prompt big questions and strong emotions.
We will give you the time and space to reflect on your life and what feels important to you now.
We support people of all faiths, people with no religious belief, and those who are unsure what they believe. We are always guided by each person’s wishes, beliefs, and cultural needs, and our aim is to walk alongside you in the way that feels right for you. This could mean:
-
A listening ear if you would like to talk about your worries or thoughts.
-
Support to practice your faith, beliefs or personal traditions, where possible
-
Help contacting a local faith representative, if this would be meaningful for you
Our chapel offers a quiet, private place for prayer, contemplation, or simply time away from a clinical environment. It’s open 24 hours a day and is available to everyone, regardless of faith or belief.
Next to the chapel is our Reflective Space – a calm and welcoming area for patients, families and visitors. This space is for anyone who would like somewhere peaceful to sit, think, remember or just pause.
