Education Discount & Offers

Bookings and payments can be made online via our website. Alternatively, bookings can be made by requesting an invoice.

Completing either process constitutes booking a place.

To request an invoice, please email education@straphaels.org.uk stating your name, role, organisation, the course or education session you wish to book and that you are requesting an invoice.

Please note that all invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date and must be paid regardless of attendance.

Acknowledgement of bookings

If booking online, you will receive an email acknowledgement of your payment. This is confirmation of the booking.

If requesting an invoice, email education@straphaels.org.uk . We will reply confirming your booking.

We will email registration details for the course or session prior to the event. If you have not received an email within 3 working days of the session or workshop, please email or telephone us to confirm a place has been booked.

Cancellation and refunds

For courses or workshops of 2 or more study days, invoices are liable for payment regardless of attendance unless a cancellation is notified in writing/by email at least 15 working days before the course or workshop, for example Advanced Communication Skills Training. For cancellations less than 14 working days prior to the workshop, 50% of the course fee will be refunded. For cancellations less than 7 working days prior to the workshop, no refunds will be made.

For single or half day education sessions, invoices are liable to payment regardless of attendance unless a cancellation is notified more than 7 working days prior to the session date. For cancellations less than 7 working days prior to the course date, no refunds will be made.

For all our education sessions, if you are unable to attend, we can offer your place to a substitute you have identified i.e. a colleague. If you wish to do this, please let us know as soon as possible, with name, role and contact details for the person taking your place.

If you wish to cancel a place for a session which is free to attend, we require notification at least 5 working days beforehand. If we do not receive this notification, we will request a £20 administration fee.

If, for reasons beyond our control, we are unable to present a session or workshop, we will inform you of this decision as soon as possible. In these circumstances, and if available, you may be offered an alternative session. If the session or workshop has been cancelled with no alternative, all payments will be fully refunded.
