Communication Training for Care Homes

In support of the South West London (SWL) Digital Integration Team’s work to enable access to the Universal Care Plan (UCP) for Care Homes, we are delighted to offer fully-funded communication training sessions.

Focusing on developing confidence in holding difficult and challenging conversations with residents and families, the sessions aim to support the completion of the UCP by helping prepare your team to gather information, understand the resident’s wishes and identify their preferences for care. 

Please be advised that the training does not include how to access and complete a UCP as this will be provided by the SWL Digital Integration Team.

Each session will include the same content, so there is no need for individuals to attend more than once. 

This funded, free training is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. Sessions are in-person, taking place in our St Bede’s Conference Centre.
